Honey, Lemon and Cardamom mixture

Add a pinch of cardamom and some lemon juice drops to the spoonful of honey. Drink this syrup 2 times a day. You will get a lot of relief from cough and cold.

Honey and milk

Fry garlic in ghee and eat it hot. It can be bad in taste but is excellent for health.

Wheat bran

You can also use wheat bran to treat colds and coughs. Boil 10 grams of wheat bran, five cloves, and some salt and mix it in water and make a decoction. Drinking a cup of this decoction will give you instant relief. However, the common cold is mild, with symptoms lasting for a week or less. You will get relief from discomfort by using wheat bran.

Pomegranate juice

Applying some ginger and appliqué powder in pomegranate juice provides relief from cough.

Pineapples juice

To increase its juice properties, adding honey, salt, and pepper to it, drinking it also ends mucus. Pineapple juice is five times more effective on cough than any phlegm syrup. Pineapples are found in plenty of antioxidants, which protect the body from harm caused by free radicals.

Black pepper

Carrot juice

It may sound strange but carrot juice is very beneficial in and cold but does not consume it with ice. Carrots are rich in vitamin C. Due to the antioxidant elements present in it, it enhances your immune system. Apart from this, it contains many vitamins and nutrients which relieve the problem of cough and mucus.

Date and milk

Eating dates with hot milk gives relief from cold.

Ginger and Honey

Ginger contains many ingredients that can withstand many diseases. Its use provides relief in cold cough and cures the respiratory process. Grind 100 grams of ginger. Add two to three teaspoons of honey to it. Take two spoons of this paste twice a day. The problem will go away.

Grape and Honey

The grape is a natural expectorant. Mix two spoons of honey in two teaspoons of grape juice. Take this mixture thrice a day for a week.

Garlic and lemon

Garlic contains inflammatory products and citric acid in lemon. When both are used, they help in removing mucus.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is beneficial in cold, but it should not be taken as medicine, it should be taken through natural sources i.e. fruits and vegetables. By taking vitamin C regularly, your immunity increases. You should eat fruits and vegetables rich in kiwi, broccoli, orange, lemon, cauliflower and vitamin C during cough.
Steam


To clean the throat and nose, you can steam at home. Boil the water and add a pinch of salt to it, now keep your face at a certain distance from the pot and breathe in with a towel or a sheet. It is the best home remedy to cure cough and cold. This will open your nose and throat. Do this remedy 2-3 times a day.

Keep the body hydrated

Many people do not feel thirsty during a cold. In such a situation, they do not drink water, due to which there is a lack of water in their bodies. In such a situation, you must keep drinking water in between. Apart from water, you can also keep the body hydrated by using coconut water, lemon water.

Nutmeg for a cold

Nutmeg for a cold to do this remedy, grind nutmeg and take 1 pinch of it and drink it mixed with milk.

Do not let the water shortage

It is usually seen that one does not feel like consuming water or any fluids when there is a cold. In such a situation, the problem of cold may increase further. During colds, keep drinking warm water for a while even if you do not feel like it. Along with this, keep taking other liquids as well, this will provide relief. Consuming warm water, soup, turmeric mixed milk, black tea, etc. helps loosen phlegm. At the same time do not consume caffeine and alcohol as they contain more urine and fewer body fluids.
