How to use Tramadol
Take this medicine by mouth as directed by your doctor. You can take this medicine with or without food. If you have nausea, taking this medicine with food may help. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about other ways to reduce nausea (such as lying on your head for as little as possible for 1 to 2 hours). The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Before using this medicine, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, specifically: neurological disorders such as head injuries, tumors, seizures. Problems with breathing such as asthma, sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, kidney disease, liver disease, mental, mood disorders such as confusion, depression, stomach, and intestinal problems. This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive and do not use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Older adults may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug. During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. It may harm an unborn baby.
